As indicated by its title, this CBC public-affairs series originated as a local program from the capital city of Ottawa. The program content covered not only this metropolis, but also the Ontario community of Hull. On Tuesday, August 4, 1959, the series was picked up by the entire CBC network. It remained in a 9:30-10 p.m. weekly slot until its final broadcast on September 15 of that same year.
