Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Fire and Sword was produced by Kismet Productions, suggesting that the whimsical plot complications were orchestrated by the Hand of Fate. Most of the picture was inexpensively lensed outdoors at New York's Coney Island. Against a backdrop of rides, concessions and animal acts, the characters enact an incongruous storyline concerning a wealthy young lass (Isabel Rea) and a libidinous Arab sheik. The villain kidnaps the girl, obliging a courageous newspaper reporter (Tom McEvoy) to attempt her rescue. Fire and Sword seems to be a lost film, though a battered print is reported to have survived.
