Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Energetic cowboy Buck Jones is almost swindled out of his valuable land in this above-average silent Western produced by Fox. Like most Westerns of the era, the film was contemporary in setting and featured automobiles, trains and even motorcycles. There's gold in them thar hills and Buck must fight the unscrupulous Lloyd Whitlock and his various henchmen to keep it safe. There is a girl waiting with open arms back in Los Angeles and when her father finally changes his mind about Buck's suitability as husband material, the scene is set for a happy ending. Leading lady Sally Long was a former Ziegfeld girl who, along with Joan Crawford, Fay Wray and Mary Astor, was voted a 1926 WAMPAS Baby Star by the Hollywood publicists.
