For the second time in Republic's Federal Agents vs. Underworld, Inc., agents Dave Worth (Kirk Alyn) and Steve Evans (James Dale) succeed in bailing out right before their vehicle crashes, this time into an enemy airplane. Meanwhile, back at the National Museum, Laura (Rosemary La Planche) accidentally overhears a recorded message from Nila (Carol Forman) to Professor Williams (Bruce Edwards), her secret partner-in-crime. When Dave arrives to question the professor, he is handed a box supposedly containing the missing Hand of Kuligal. The box, however, is booby-trapped and a bound-and-gagged Laura attempts to warn Dave from opening it. The warning, alas, seems to have come too late.
