Synopsis by Bhob Stewart
Rafi Pitts, after studying film in London and working in France, made his feature-film directorial debut with this French-Iranian romantic comedy about the long-standing feud of two village families, the Jamalvandis and the Kamalvandis, and the love story that eventually brings harmony to the rival families. Shown at the 1997 Venice Film Festival.
