Originally aired on PBS, Family Cooking: From the Blanchard's Kitchen features husband-and-wife cooking team Bob and Melissa Blanchard. In addition to offering family-oriented recipes to aspiring chefs, the Blanchard's emphasize that cooking is about creating memories as well as food. They encourage that family and friends participate in preparing meals in order to enhance the bond among them. The show also follows the Blanchards to a variety of bakeries, kitchens, and produce suppliers, and provides the history and significance of each locale.
