Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Cissy (Kathy Garver) despairs over the fact that her high school is holding a mother-daughter event--and of course, she has no mother. Bill (Brian Keith) would like to know the source of Cissy's unhappiness, but she refuses to tell him. When he ultimately finds out, Bill must figure a way to make Cissy happy without having her think that he's merely acting out of pity.
