Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Frances Nelson, a minor Metro star of the 1910s, starred in this her final film as an innocent girl forced by her aunt, Leonore Harris, and nasty nightclub owner Frank Beamish to fleece young gambler Robert Frazer. When she refuses, Beamish locks her in a dungeon-like room, from which Frazer helps her escape. On the run, Nelson and Frazer are falsely accused of a crime they didn't commit but are cleared in the last minute by the repenting aunt. The Faithless Sex was dumped on the states rights market by small-scale Signet Films in May of 1922.
