Synopsis by Nathan Southern

The 2004 documentary Faith Rewarded: The Historic Season of the 2004 Boston Red Sox chronicled the end of the long (long) standing, 86-year period in which The Boston Red Sox - once the pride and glory of the MLB - seemed unable to break the alleged "Curse of the Bambino" and win the coveted World Series title. They did so by defeating the St. Louis Cardinals after flushing out the New York Yankees in a 4-3 ALCS sweep. Merely three years later, the Sox won the premier title yet again, by defeating the Colorado Rockies in the 103rd World Series. Modeled upon its predecessor, the sequel to the 2004 film, entitled Champions Again: The Story of the 2007 Boston Red Sox, re-traces the many highlights of the team's spectacular rise to glory during the 2007 baseball season - from Mike Lowell's shattering of RBI records, to the recruitment of Daisuke Matsuzaka, to the unforgettable highs of the Rolling Rally and the crowning glory of the final game.at Coors Field on October 28, 2007.
