A young youth pastor experiences a monumental crisis of faith in this quietly intense religious drama. As a child, David always thought that his brother Chad would be the one to enter the clergy. The brothers lost their parents when they were still mere boys, yet somehow through it all they managed to hold on to their father's church. When Chad was killed by a young man he was only trying to help, youth pastor David found his faith shaken to the very core. Later, the announcement that his wife has been diagnosed with a life threatening disease causes David to lose his faith entirely. Perhaps with the help of his friends and his own son, David can reestablish his relationship with God and help guide his wife through her darkest hour.
