Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Tom O'Brien's comedy-drama Fairhaven tells the story of three friends who reunite when one of them returns to the titular hometown. Dave (Chris Messina) has been out of touch with his buddies for a few years when he reluctantly comes home in order to go to his father's funeral. He quickly starts hanging out with his old pal Jon (O'Brien), who wants to quit his job on a commercial fishing boat and become a writer. The pair have a drunken night out with their other best friend Sam (Rich Sommer), a divorced father who hasn't had time to get back into the dating game. Over the next few days, old secrets are revealed and the three thirtysomethings all come to terms with their approaching middle age.
