Biblical historians still debate whether the stories about Jesus were first written down by eyewitnesses or merely penned by later generations. This film features Biblical scholar Carsten Thiede's work indicating that the Gospel of Matthew was actually written down in 70 A.D., a time frame called the "eyewitness period" by some historians. Segments also focus on the new technologies and other devices being used to examine a host of ancient texts and other documents addressing Jesus' life, death, and resurrection.
