In the future, driving is left up to artificial intelligence and nobody controls their own cars anymore. Nobody, of course, except for eX-Drivers. These speed experts are sent in to take care of AI cars gone haywire with their incredible racing skills and agile reflexes. They seem like the perfect people to participate in an old-fashioned gas-engine race, but when three ex-Drivers -- Lisa, Lorna, and Souichi -- go to Los Angeles to do just that, they get more than they bargained for. The intensity of high-speed racing is enough for the team to deal with, but when they discover plots involving the mob and underground gambling, it might be too much, even for these speed prodigies.
