Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
The living dead descend upon early 21st century Athens for a fleshy feast that will leave viewers breathless in the directorial debut of writer/director Yorgos Nousias. When three construction workers are infected by an unseen evil while exploring an underground cavern, the apocalyptic chaos that follows threatens to consume all of Greece. After one of the workers devours his wife, another attacks his frightened daughter Jenny (Mary Tsoni), who narrowly manages to escape with a little assistance from athletic neighbor Marina (Pepi Moskhovakou). The third worker then goes public with his bloodlust, prompting a frenzied panic as he transforms a friendly soccer match into a monstrous vision of undead terror. After Andreas (Nikos Sambalis) somehow manages to escape the flesh-eating horde, he finds himself in the company of the spirited Dimitra (Starvoula Thomopoulou) and outspoken taxi cab driver Argyris (Argyris Thanansoulas). Upon meeting up with the heavily-armed Meletis (Meletis Georgiadis), Andreas, Dimitra, and the rest of the survivors set their sights on a nearby soccer stadium to wage one last battle against the flesh-eating legions of the damned.
