According to this Fox Pictures confection, "every girl's dream" is apparently to become a princess and win a handsome prince. When first we meet heroine Gretchen (June Caprice), she is living in dire poverty somewhere in Holland with her cruel foster parents. Desirous of escaping her plight, Gretchen harbors a seemingly hopeless love for next-door neighbor Carl (Harry Hilliard). When Carl turns out to be the Prince of Olenberg, he is apparently lost to the heroine forever. Happily, however, Gretchen is revealed to be the long-lost Princess of another mythical European kingdom, thereby qualifying her to become Carl's bride.
