Farris Faycurry (who doubles as a scenarist) and David Newman (Soul Food, Barbershop 2: Back in Business) co-headline the high-octane urban crime drama Even Trade (2004). The two play Geno and Squeeze, longtime best buddies who have spent years establishing the Chicago-based Delano crime family as one of the most lucrative and revered syndicates in the Windy City. But as the story opens, Geno opts to break loose from crime and abandon Squeeze, and unknowingly ignites a long string of violent, retributive acts from his resentful pal.
