Ray Liotta makes a guest appearance as a rock-bottom alcoholic in the final stages of liver failure, whose final hour is played out in real-time. But as the County staffers work to delay his inevitable fate, they must also contend with a waiting-room full of patients and Pratt's uncharacteristic aversion to treating what looks to be a lost cause.
