Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter

This video is part of a five-volume series that tours some of England's grandest and most historic houses. Each house has a colorful past and the house at Wilton is no exception. It is the ancestral home of the Earls of Pembroke, who received their fiefdom from Henry VIII. The viewer goes on a tour led by the current Earl of Pembroke to enjoy the magnificent furnishings and art of Renaissance masters. The building itself is a treasure with many interesting architectural features.
