The documentary Sergio Vieira de Mello: En Route to Baghdad tells the life story of the diplomat and peacemaker who was killed when the UN headquaters in Baghdad were bombed in August of 2003. Handpicked by Kofi Annan to lead the UN presence in Iraq, De Mello had shown he was one of the few men qualified to handle so difficult and treacherous an assignment. The filmmakers showcase his many good works, and interview those who worked with him.
