Seeing the money which Aristide Massaccesi made with the original Emanuelle e le Porno Notti earlier in the year, cult filmmaker Bruno Mattei (directing here as "Jimmy Matheus") took his turn milking the Emanuelle cash-cow by roping in Emanuelle Nera star Laura Gemser for yet another tour of sex clubs and swingers' venues. Mattei's version is even tackier than its predecessor, with clearly staged sequences and bits swiped from movies (including Can I Do It Till I Need Glasses?) which at least provides some old-time mondo film trashiness sorely missing from Massaccesi's film. Both managed to make a profit for Sorgente Cinematografica, but it was the sort of quick turnaround which indicates that people came to see another Black Emanuelle sequel and then told all their friends what a bad film they'd been suckered into paying to attend instead.
