Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

A woman competing in a Marilyn Monroe look-a-like contest experiences an identity crisis that mirrors the life of the actress she's imitating in writer/director Alejandro Bellame Palacios' drama about the true price of fame and fortune. Magaly (Elaiza Gil) and her husband Arturo (Alberto Alifa) are in dire financial straits when Arturo learns of a Marilyn Monroe look-a-like contest with a top prize of $25,000. As the contest gets underway, Magaly finds herself facing off against crooked competitor Norma, and wealthy contest sponsor Rossel, who seems intent on bedding her. Realizing that her only hope of winning out over Norma is to train under local transvestite Hector, who believes himself to be the reincarnation of the ill-fated starlet, Magaly becomes determined to transform herself into the real Marilyn Monroe and finds her own identity slipping away in the process.
