Telecast on two successive Sunday afternoons, the Canadian public-affairs program Education Today delivered pretty much what its title promised. In addition to its assessment of public and private education in the Provinces, the series focused on the importance of a good schooling background in the business world. Also studied was the phenomenon of returning to complete one's education after a few hard years in the "real world." Education Today was broadcast by the CBC on May 10 and 17, 1959.
