This series is only loosely based on the original DragonBall series and was created in response to a desire among fans of the franchise for more. The story takes place roughly ten years after the events at the end of the DragonBall Z series and follows a number of fast-paced adventures that develop quickly from one episode to another. Old Pilaf wants to become younger, but the Ultimate Dragon Balls turn Goku into a child, by mistake, when they try to enact the spell. He retains his powers, however, except for his teleportation skill. Countless crazy events follow, from runaway robots to journeys into space.
