Trunks rushes towards the Future, hoping to prevent Dr. Gero's creation of the all-powerful evil android Cell. Meanwhile, Krillin rescues a family from Cell's latest energy-grabbing rampage in South City. The vengeful Cell attempts to zap Krillin's energy, but "Super Namek" Piccolo is not about to let that happen. And as the other Androids converge upon Z-Fighter Goku, they discover to their dismay that he has not succumbed to illness, but is instead stronger than ever. "Our Hero Awakens" was seen in America on October 12, 2000, eight years after its initial appearance on Japanese television.
