Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Most of the Earth is freed from the influence of Garlic Jr. by the sacred water. Unfortunately, Garlic Jr. himself is a force to conjure with, as an injured Piccolo and Krillin have discovered. It is up to Gohan --- who has the advantage of immortality --- to attempt to deal the death blow to the villain. . .while Kami and Mr. Popo rush to administer the Sacred Water to the rest of Garlic Jr.'s slaves. First shown in Japan on November 6, 1991, "The World Awakens" was seen in America on May 27, 2000, in tandem with the followup DragonBall Z episode "Brief Chance for Victory."
