Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Having temporarily gained the advantage over Goku, Frieza brags that he can thoroughly defeat his enemy without even laying a hand on him. But as it turns out, Frieza is unable to carry out his boast. Meanwhile, Captain Ginyu (who has been largely absent since the end of his Dragon Ball Z "saga") thwarts Bulma by using a transformation tactic he'd previously deployed on Goku. Originally telecast in Japan on May 1, 1991, "Frieza's Boast" made its American TV premiere on October 8, 1999.
