Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Shot with a sawed-off shotgun during a routine check on a pair of parolees parked near a liquor store, Officer Dave Roberts (Don Marshall) suffers a total blackout, rendering him unable to identify the perpetrators. Pounding the pavement in hopes of finding a lead, Sgt. Friday (Jack Webb) and Officer Gannon (Harry Morgan) receive a helpful tip following a local robbery. Lead to a cheap hotel, the duo rush in on the criminals and make the arrest. Despite the fact that the cop can't identify them, the criminals don't know that and one of them cracks when confronted with the witness.
