During a routine trip to buy medical supplies, Mike and Sully invite some old friends to attend Thanksgiving with them back at the homestead upon their return. Though the other people on the stagecoach headed home seem innocent enough, it turns out that they are transporting weapons. After the stagecoach is hijacked, Dr. Mike and company are left with no choice but to travel through hostile Native American land. Back at home, Matthew, Colleen, and Brian concoct a well-intentioned but nonetheless haphazard plan to have Thanksgiving dinner waiting and ready for Dr. Mike and Sully's return. Though the dinner looks like it will be a certain disaster, Cloud Dancing (Larry Sellers) agrees to lend a hand.
