Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Aspiring writer Skylar (Sean Johnson) strives to get published while helping his mother Tammy (Alethea Bailey) care for his younger sister Hannah (Adriana Ford), who's been stricken with sickle cell anemia, but tensions in their household spike when Hannah's estranged father Leroy (Beny Schwarzt) returns home seeking reconciliation as the ailing girl's health takes a turn for the worse.
