Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The "Dungeons and Dragons" craze was still in its infancy when the Seattle-based Doubles came out in 1978. Young Dennis Cooley (Ted D'Arms) leads his friends through an elaborate role-playing fantasy game. Alas (and inevitably), someone is taking the game far too seriously. Now Dennis must avoid being killed by a hired gun-and, while he's at it, he tries to win the game. The title Doubles takes on added meaning when we learn that one of the supporting actors is playing a dual role.
