Produced by Jesse J. Goldburg's Independent Pictures, Double-Barreled Justice was one in a series of ten silent Westerns starring Franklyn Farnum, a veteran stage and screen actor hailing from Boston. Produced in 1924, the series was directed by J.P. McGowan, the Australian-born husband of serial queen Helen Holmes, and written by James Ormont.
