Synopsis by Michael Hastings
Over the course of their careers, Russian filmmakers Rasim Odzhagov and Rustam Ibragimbekov explored the theme of governmental corruption and its effects on commoners, never more so than in their 1979 feature Dopros (Interrogation). Under the direction of Odzhagov, the film explores a tense investigation -- inspired by a true story -- that took place in Azerbaijan in the 1970s.
