Synopsis by Janiss Garza

According to trade paper Wid's, "If it happened that you got into your seat just after the introductory titles had been run off...you would probably go out fully impressed that Don't Tell Everything was a DeMille production." The reason for that, Gloria Swanson says in her autobiography, is because this comedy-drama was merely outtakes from Cecil B. DeMille's film The Affairs of Anatole. But the studio, Paramount (and perhaps the director that was given credit, Sam Wood), did manage to make a halfway credible film from the scraps -- sportsman Cullen Dale (Wallace Reid) secretly marries society girl Marian Westover (Swanson). But his pal, sportswoman Jessica Ramsey (Dorothy Cumming), decides she wants him herself. Marian doesn't want to honeymoon with Dale at Jessica's hunting lodge and they argue. Dale goes there on his own, and Marian's former suitor, Harvey Gilroy (Elliott Dexter), convinces her to go after him. She arrives at the cabin and wins her husban d back from Jessica.
