Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Joe Benson (Matt Moore) is in love with Dorothy Whynn (Marjorie Daw). Her father, Colonel Whynn (Tom Guise), thoroughly disapproves of the match -- in fact, he threatens to kill Joe. The young couple gets married anyway, and convinces the justice of the peace to keep the ceremony a secret until he returns from vacation. This causes a lot of complications when a number of other women start showing up at the bridal suite that Joe has engaged. One of the ladies, who is also hiding her own marriage, tries to pawn Joe off as her husband. Another woman is trying to get away from her jealous maniac of an ex-husband. The ex-husband believes that she is involved with Joe and wants to make sure he does "right" by her. The only way Joe is able to escape is when the Colonel somehow winds up with the divorced woman. Joe and Dorothy are finally able to take the train off to a blissful honeymoon. This farce benefited greatly from Marshall Neilan's direction.
