Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Wealthy Richard Parrish (Jack Holt) finds the enduring affection of his fiancee, Alice Meldrum (Agnes Ayres) tiring. He becomes fascinated by Rita Coventry (Nita Naldi), a fickle opera diva who believes in grand passion as a way of enhancing her art. Alice is sorely neglected while Parrish hovers around Rita, but soon enough she gets bored of him and finds fresh romance with Patrick Delaney, a piano tuner and part time musician (Rod La Rocque). Parrish tries to go back to the reluctant Alice, who only takes him back after he persists. Rita, meanwhile, marries Delaney and goes on a honeymoon. However, the incorrigible prima donna promises her managers she will return soon because she wants to check out the new tenor.
