This Indian film retells an ancient folktale. While her husband is away on a long business trip, a young bride is visited by a ghost that falls in love with her and impersonates her husband to the point of impregnating the woman. When the husband returns, he must prove his identity to his wife and the villagers, as they seem to think he is an imposter.
