Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This English-language title of this Danish romantic comedy is Discretion Wanted. Ib Schoenberg and Betty Helsengreen play a married couple forced to take in boarders due to financial difficulties. They open their doors to a bevy of attractive, unmarried young ladies, with the expected farcical results. Danish audiences were contect to sit through the film's attenuated 118-minute running time, but non-Danish audiences weren't so inclined, necessitating some judicious cutting. Diskret Ophold represents the directorial bow of Ole Palsbo.
