Touma is out shopping with Yuri when the two are caught in a sudden downpour. The pair duck into a flower shop for shelter, and Touma is immediately smitten by Leena, the girl working there, who offers to lend them umbrellas. Touma returns the umbrellas the next day and over time the two become friendly, despite Touma's nervousness and occasional lapses into nerdy monologues. Some time later, Touma asks Kei to suggest a gift for Leena. Exasperated by Touma's reluctance to just ask Leena out (and a little disturbed at his obsessive behavior), they force the issue by setting up a date between the two. Much to their surprise, Leena agrees to see him. It turns out there is more to her than meets the eye, but in a way that Kei and Yuri didn't expect. (American release in 2001.)
