Also known as Foreign Embassies, the weekly, half-hour Canadian TV series Diplomatic Passport was not, as might be assumed, an action-adventure romp. Instead, it was a straightforward documentary-interview series, focusing on the many foreign embassies in Canada. Each week, a pair of ace TV interviewers discussed matters of importance with various ambassadors and their families. Diplomatic Passport was telecast by the CBC on Monday afternoons from October 16, 1961 to April 30, 1962.
