Tankred Dorst mounted this 2010 Bayreuther Festspiele production of Richard Wagner's 1870 opera Die Walküre, which stars Johan Botha as Siegmund, Kwangchul Youn as Hunding, Albert Dohmen as Wotan and Edith Haller as Sieglinde. The Bayreuth Festival Orchestra lends symphonic accompaniment under the direction of Christian Thielemann; Frank Philipp Schlößmann designed the sets, Bernd Ernst Skodzig created the costumes, and Christoph Ulrich Meier supervised the music.
