Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
After his 1977 send-up of American filmmaking in What Ever Happened to Wilma Montesi, German director von Luetzelberg has taken on the horror movies in this parody of the genre. Several people -- an opera star and her accompanist, a Hollywood gossip columnist, and a "Ladies Trio" and their manager all end up in a haunted castle on an eerie moonlit night. They have comically sinister counterparts in the castle (played by the same actors) with their own unique foibles. Worked into the shenanigans are a few musical numbers, some other lightly entertaining acts, and a maid who is constantly thwarted every time she tries to do in one of the visitors.
