Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Lam Yee-hung directed this low-budget Hong Kong action film about two amateur criminals, Chien and Liang, who are set up to take a murder rap by Fu Yung-lin (Ben Ng), a corrupt police officer. The men escape from Hong Kong to China after Officer Fu refuses to give them the money he promised and orders them to be murdered instead. It isn't long before the internal-affairs division of the Hong Kong Police Department apprehends Fu, but his henchmen get him free and he murders the officers who arrested him. One of the dead men's wives, a policewoman named Sonia Chan (Lily Chung), tries to get the department to let her chase Fu into China, but they naturally decline her request. The determined Sonia goes anyway and gets a job singing at Fu's karaoke bar, where she plots her vengeance. Chien and Liang are there as well, and after Sonia saves them during a knife fight, they decide to work with her to bring Fu down. Linda Cheung appears as a Chinese cop, and Cheung Kwok-leung and Wong Wan-choi co-star.
