Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
Inge Herold (Christine Schorn) is divorced with one teenage son, she is approaching middle age, has a lover she cannot marry because he is already married, and ironically, is a marriage counselor. Her life has changed radically overnight because she has found out she may have breast cancer. She is followed throughout one day as she grapples with the possibility that she will need a mastectomy -- her apprehensions change and switch tonalities as the day goes on, but they will be very hard to shake until her ordeal is over.
