Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter

This film on the private life of Princess Diana is an inside look at some of her trials and tribulations in the Royal Family of England. It is notable that the film was made prior to her sudden and tragic death in 1997. This presentation focuses on her failing marriage, her struggle with eating disorders and depression, and her efforts to preserve the right of her son to ascend to the throne. It is a look at the metamorphosis of the shy English kindergarten teacher into one of the most glamorous and admired women in the world, and the price she paid to maintain her image.
