Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Esther Anderson (Gladys Brockwell) lives in a remote town in Montana with her drunken stepfather. During a blizzard, she saves a young doctor, Jim Barnes (William Scott), and they fall in love. But when he goes to town for more supplies, he collapses in an exhausted delirium. Esther hears no word from him and believes that she has been deserted, so she joins a theatrical troupe. Eventually, she winds up in New York City as the sweetheart of an artist, Paul Evers (Nicholas Dunaew). Even though she does not love him, she agrees to marry him. Meanwhile, an old cowpuncher, convinced that Esther still loves Barnes, brings him to New York. The two men walk in just in time to save Esther -- she has broken off her engagement with Evers and he is about to shoot her in an angry fit. Evers is disarmed, and Esther and Barnes are reunited.
