Synopsis by Mark Deming
Yngve (Bjarte Hjelmeland) and Anders (Anders Dale) are two close friends who are brought even closer together when their mutual friend Terje (Bjornar Teigen) is institutionalized as a result of his drug use. The two men are convinced the institution is the wrong place for Terje, and hatch a scheme to break him out and take him to freedom. However, when Anders reveals his homosexual attraction to Yngve, their longtime friendship is challenged. Strong performances by Hjelmeland and Dale are the highlights of this drama from Norway, which was screened at the 1999 Mardi Gras Film Festival in Sydney, Australia.
