Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Fox's also-ran cowboy star Buck Jones played a prospector falsely accused of murder in this silent Western, which benefitted from an above average supporting cast. Along with a fellow inmate, Jones escapes from prison. Hiding out with his newfound buddy's sister (Evelyn Brent), Jones manages not only to clear his own name but also to obtain a pardon from the governor for his friend. Playing the hero's young sidekick was William Haines (then spelling his last name "Haynes"), a perky young actor who made quite a name for himself in light comedy roles at MGM in the late 1920s. Haines retired from acting soon after the changeover to sound, becoming instead Hollywood's most fashionable interior designer.
