Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

A famous actor overhears a rumor that his wife and co-star is having an affair with a French count in this silent Danish melodrama. As the man in question bears a striking resemblance to the famous actor, the last mentioned decides to put his wife to the test by impersonating her presumed lover. She is fooled by the disguise and responds passionately to her husband's love-making. Performing Othello the following night, the actor avenges himself by actually killing his wife. Produced by the Great Northern Company, the largest film producer in Scandinavia, this 2-reel drama starred one of the era's great matinee idols, Valdemar Psilander, an actor as popular in America as he was in Europe.
