Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Two friends plot to kidnap a woman for ransom order to pay for the funeral of the father figure who raised them, but begin to second guess their mission after learning the true identity of their target. Growing up in Mexico, Gil Garcia was deeply in love with Desdemona. When Gil moved to America with his father, he promised Desdemona that he would come back for her someday. Shortly after arriving in America, however, Gil's father died, and the young boy was taken in by Dustin, a close friend of the family. Over the years, Gil and Dustin's biological son Rod forged a powerful bond of brotherhood. But that bond is later tested when Dustin falls ill, and Gil and Dustin realize that they won't be able to cover the funeral expenses. Desperate, Rod suggests that they kidnap the wife of a wealthy man who will have no qualms about paying a paltry $6000 ransom. The stage is set for tragedy, however, when Rod and Gil realize that the woman they now hold captive is none other than Desdemona.
