Widely regarded as one of most popular drummers of modern times, Dennis Chambers' unique style has been utilized by Parliament, Funkadelic, John Scofield, Mike Stern, Stanley Clarke, and Santana. Dennis Chambers: In the Pocket features Chambers alongside his former bandmates (Scofield, Gary Granger, and Jim Beard) in their first appearance together since 1987. Among the tunes included are "You Say," "Cissy Strut," and "Blue Matter," as well as drum'n'bass grooves from "Cold Sweat" and "Chameleon."
